  : Room was comfortable and included a fridge. Breakfast was fine. Staff was kind. For a one night only stay, it worked quite well. Several restaurants and cafs nearby.
  : The stairway from the reception to the rooms is very steep, so be careful if you're bringing heavy baggage.

  : Bed fairly comfy. Clean sheets and shower. Location.
  : Very steep stairs (56 in all), lighting poor, no bedside lamps, no tea/coffee, no Internet for 3/4 days, painters in hotel and opened our door when we were changing as had master key. Woken 8 am by painters noise. Couldn't use safe, 1 clothes hangar in broken cupboard. Staff rarely aroundand did not respond to complaints. Bin not emptied in 4 days

  : Balcony/nook was an added delight, quiet location not to far from city centre.
  : Bathroom setup was weird and water did not drain. Front reception was under renovation so staff was in hallway making it a little awkward.

  : The bed was comfortable, we were allowed to leave our luggage there before check in and we were allowed to leave our luggage there after we checked out . Its a good 10 -15 minute walk into the main part of Amsterdam
  : The hotel was being renovated while we were there and we were stepping around painters, builders etc when we got to the hotel that afternoon the doors were closed ,we rang and knocked on the door however no one came it was only a painter who saw us and let us in .We were then given our card to open the front door and to open our room. However when we got to our room the card did not work it had not been activated. The stairs are very steep so if you have a physical disability, elderly or heavy luggage only book a room on the first floor as anything on the other levels would be too difficult to manage. In our confirmation it stated toiletries however there were none ,not even soap to wash our hands after going to the bathroom also the fridge was not plugged in ,so we plugged it in, turned it up and then went to the supermarket to get milk tea and coffee as again there were none in our room just a kettle, 2x glasses and 2x cups everywhere else we had booked thru out our travels provide tea, coffee and milk. We tried the wifi only to be told that it was being updated, and would be out for a while,so we went to Starbucks and used there's as we needed to check our flight details. When we got back that night and tried again to use the wifi we still could not get on. The next morning we checked with the manager only to be told that the logon name and password had been changed. He knew we needed to use the wifi , he could have slipped a note under our door to let us know , he then told us he was there until 10pm and why did we not go and see him , we were told by him the day before that no one is there after 6 pm. In my onion this is not a hotel it is just a 3 storey building that rooms are rented out to , there is no front desk like most Hotels. Also the shower is only Luke warm water not hot which would be needed in colder weather

  : Great location, friendly staff. Good sized room. Got an upgrade to a double room! For me the most important thing was to have room to stay in for the marathon and I got that! Once the refurbishment finishes this will be an excellent place!
  : There was a refurbishment going on so it would be unfair to complain about anything. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I'm sure once the refurbishment is finished the place will shine!
