  : The location is great, and the space in the apartment of good.
  : VERY steep stairs, you have to be in a good shape in order to climb to the apartment. The apartment is poorly equipped, with cheap and inadequate chairs for a dining table, no chairs (comfortable or uncomfortable) for sitting, only one sofa for up to 3 people squeezed to each other, nothing whatsoever in bedrooms where one could put his/her clothes when changing for bed, 2 tiny (50cm) wardrobes in the whole apartment, clearly inadequate to put clothes of a whole family, nothing in a bathroom to hang on towels or to remove splashed water after taking a shower...

  : The location was great and the apartment has a lot of potential. Beds were clean and comfortable.
  : Dining chairs not fit for purpose with screws missing caused a nasty fall with serious bruises. Could not use them for remainder of trip. Coffee table unusable as a leg had previously been broken and stuck back on with sellotape. If we had put hot drinks on it there could have been another nasty accident. Leak in main bedroom had left puddles on table and chair surfaces which had not been cleaned up before we arrived. Kettle does not automatically switch off, which is a potential fire hazard. General cleanliness, especially floors, was not great. Would expect better quality for the price we paid.

  : For me, this location is the best in Amsterdam. You are at the gates of Vondel Park and Museumplein(Van Gogh, Ruks museum....) is on 4-5 minutes walk. The apartment is very spacious and very well equiped(washing machine, dishwasher, espresso machine...). And if you are planning to work some of the time while at the apartment, the wi-fi is very good and reliable! I have to mention Niels(I hope I got your name right), the host who welcomed us, he was very kind and helpfull!
  : Prior to our arrival, we were given a contact phone number to call for check in... This number was from some other agency that was not responsible for the check in. They tried to connect us to the host meeting us but I had to dial 5-6 times and speak with 3 different agents for this to happen(lost good amount of time and nerves doing this). This can be improved by simply providing the number of the host that needs to meet you! Now about the biggest downside of this apartment... The cleanliness... The apartment was very dirty and probably not even cleaned from the guests before. There was hair in the beds and also in the shower, dust all over the place, in the kitchen there was some food that was left from the guests before but it gone really bad and it stinked... Luckly enough I instantly contacted the host and explained to him the situation of the apartment, and he was understanding and the next day they sent a person from their housekeeping team to clean the apartment. Even after he cleaned it was a little bit dirty, but now we were at least able to go to bed with a clean sheet and shower with no hair in the shower. P.S. I read a lot of comments regarding the smell from the bathroom. This problem is caused because the drainage system gets dry if you don't use the shower and it has a bad smell, if this happens to you, you can fix it by simply keeping the shower "hydrated" all the time!Overall the apartment is very good and the price for this type of apartment is good but please make this few changes in the future!
