  : Location was convenient for what I neededStaff were very pleasant, polite and courteous. In general you could not fault them
  : Everything. It was dated, not particularly clean and very noisy internally. This carried through from ignorant guests banging and shouting to staff with noisy trolleys until close to midnight. I had to put the aircon/heating on to drown out the noise

  : Location I'd ideal. Not in the centre but litreally 2 mins walk,
  : Where do I start,I booked this hotel it wasn't the cheapest at 840 for 2 nights, 3 adults.We checked in and was given a 2nd floor room. Upon exiting the lift, the whole floor smelt of sewage/nitrate. The room didn't smell just the hallways.Within an hour of checking in so did next door, and didn't we know about it, we had an adjoining room albeit locked joining doors as we didn't know them, but the noise was so loud it was 6pm before there night out, I had too have a word with reception, i was told its tough were fully booked, but they also agreeded the noise was bad and the walls were very thin, but nothing could be done, so it was earplugs for us luckily they stayed one night so the second night was much quiter, I also took a video which If I can I'll upload.In reception, there are umbrellas you can borrow for 2 days for free, I borrowed one for 4 hours and was charged 21:40p again they wouldn't do owt on the matter.So after a rubbish first night sleep, we heads too breakfast that cost 25 each paid when booked.Choices were streaky bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes and mini hot dog sauages (cheap tinned), dry bread and some stale pastries, take your pick... yeah, seriously, that was the buffet, I lied. There was a toaster set upon a stool in the doorway if you wanted toast and a coffee machine. While sat eating my bacon sandwich she came along spraying chemical sprays all over the table too clean it, erm hello I'm sat here eating just because 2 of the 3 of us had left she decided we were all finished.We heads out for the day 11am we return too our room at 5pm and no clean towels no house keeping we start freshening up too head out when a knock at the door now 6:30pm HOUSEKEEPING, seriously.A better sleep the second night and the same breakfast for the second morning, only this time a homeless man and his dog wanders in to the conservatory where breakfast is held, literally says it all.

  : Major construction in and around theHotel, it should have been shut down through this period BUT they are still charging top rates and providing an awful stay experience!!
